The property has also access to its own yard. The preschool consists of 2 groups, the younger children's ward (1-3.5 years) and the older children's ward (3.5-5 years). Younger Children's Group (Rainbow) consists of 13-15 children and 3 educators. The older children's section consists of 17-20 children and 3 educators. Happyland's vision is that all children are given the best possible conditions for developing their abilities and curiosity and feeling safe and joyful.
Knowledge of Nature and the ability to use different techniques in everyday life are very important for children's development, for their orientation in society and further attitudes to lifelong learning. We see great interest in the children in those areas. During this project, we will aim to develop children's understanding of sustainability and recycling. They will learn a lot about our environment and nature and be alert about animals, birds, and insects. The children and the custodians will be offered many activities throughout the project to use different techniques, which was much appreciated by both them and the custodians. The children showed great curiosity about how technology works in everyday life. The work will progress to good results. Success in the work will be a well-planned activity, where the children are proposed most types of work with science and technology...
Educators will work consciously to involve the children in project planning and implementation. We will invest in reflecting on children's learning and on several tracks
that maybe their interest. We will strive even more to raise responsibility and awareness of the importance of nature in our lives, that the children should be more aware of our environment importance, to raise issues about climate, food waste, waste sorting, and recycling. We will continue to organize the Sopplocker Days both at the preschool farm and in the local environment. We are going to introduce more natural materials and not finished materials.

Vasiliki Sotiriadi, Mia Fora Ki Enan Kairo founder, has a vision to create an international mindedness school, which will provide a happy, safe and nurturing environment where the children feel confident to express themselves, explore the world around them and develop their social skills. In our schools we focus on how a pupil learns as well as on what they learn. We consider each pupil as a whole, and understand that social, emotional, and physical well-being are all factors which impact on their current and future involvement and motivation to learn. Based on our educational approaches we ensure that children learn, develop well and are kept healthy and safe. Our fourteen year experience promotes teaching and learning to ensure children's 'school readiness' and gives children the broad range of knowledge and skills that provide the right foundation for good future progress through school and life.
Mia Fora Ki Enan Kairo’s school educational approach is based on gamification in a variety of ways and implementations. Un and Play is a strong motivation we use in order to achieve great understanding and trigger kids’ curiosity. Hands-on learning can blend real life scenarios with bits of knowledge and engage the curiosity of our students, driving their motivation. As children develop and learn in different ways and at different rates, our school approach helps everyone flourish within personalized learning pathways.
In Mia Fora Ki Enan Kairo every child is unique, is constantly learning and can be resilient, capable, confident and self-assured. Children learn to be strong and independent through positive relationships. Children also learn and develop well in an enabling environment, in which their experiences respond to their individual needs and there is a strong partnership between teachers and parents and/or guardians.
